The coolant hose between the radiator and expansion tank may have been misrouted and consequently come into contact with the exhaust header pipe, potentially causing damage to the hose. A leak from the radiator hose may allow coolant to escape and get onto the rear tyre. This could cause the rider to lose control over the vehicle, leading to an accident.

The recall affects Triumph Speed Twin motorcycles manufactured between 21. 9. 2018 – 4. 2. 2019.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your motorcycle, you should make contact with a Triumph dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer.

Manufacturers offer an unlimited time for those repairs, meaning that second or third owners can still get a recalled motorcycle fixed at no charge.
