A clamp on the oil-cooling system may have been incorrectly fitted. This could result in the oil cooler line becoming detached and sudden loss of engine oil. Loss of engine oil could lead to a skid risk for following vehicles as well as the motorcyclist.

The motorcycles concerned were produced between 2. 6. 2016 and 9. 5. 2017.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your motorcycle, you should make contact with a Harley Davidson dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer.

Manufacturers offer an unlimited time for those repairs, meaning that second or third owners can still get a recalled motorcycle fixed at no charge.
